Biostimulants

Biostimulants are compounds that are injected into the deep layer of the skin called the dermis. Unlike dermal fillers which simply inject volume, biostimulators work by stimulating new tissue growth, helping the skin to naturally produce its own volume.

Is AviClear safe?

Unlike most traditional acne treatments, AviClear is free of harmful side effects, free of chemicals and toxins, and safe for all skin types and tones. After treatment, mild symptoms such as redness, inflammation and flareups are normal, but fade quickly.

Which Neurotoxin should I get?

Neuromodulator injections are made from a neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum, which is also known as botulinum toxin type-A. During your appointment, your practitioner discuss the differences and benefits of the neurotoxins so you can best decide which one suits your needs.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are a medium depth medical grade formulation that often include TCA, Kojic Acid, Retinoic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Phenol, Vitamin C and anti-oxidant, Glutathione. What should I expect on treatment day?

Your skin will be degreased with acetone and then the peel is applied in layers. There might be a tingling or burning sensation with application and you will leave the office with a tanned/orange-tint to your skin. You will be given post treatment packet to bring home and apply the next day and following week.

Results vary per patient, but you will notice improvement with a single procedure – 7-10 days after the initial application.

Normal activities may be resumed immediately post peel. We do however recommend avoiding the following:
Excessive sweating
